This notice describes how the VerifNumber public website and the Insights Lab prototype included on this site handle information. It is intended to describe the behavior of this website package, not to replace a separate privacy notice for any other product, customer account, or paid service that may be operated under the VerifNumber brand.
1. Operator and contact
VerifNumber is presented as a product brand associated with PT Makala Edukasi Indonesia, subject to confirmation of the company's current registration and operating role. Privacy questions can be sent to information@verifnumber.com.
2. Information you send us
The contact form on this website prepares a message in your default email application. It does not submit form values to a VerifNumber web form server. If you send the email, the information in it will be processed by your email provider and received in the mailbox used by VerifNumber. Please do not email passwords, one-time passwords, access tokens, full payment details, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
3. Insights Lab prototype
The default “Analyze locally” function reads the CSV you select or paste in the browser and computes descriptive counts in that browser session. It does not upload the CSV or save it to a VerifNumber server. The prototype is designed for synthetic or sanitized operational rows only. Do not include phone numbers, OTP values, names, email addresses, access tokens, or user identifiers.
If the optional “Explain with Claude” feature is enabled by the operator, the browser sends aggregate totals and error categories to the website's server endpoint. The endpoint is designed to send those aggregate statistics, rather than raw CSV rows, to Anthropic's API to generate an explanation. This feature will return an unavailable/error message until the operator has securely configured the API integration. Anthropic's processing of API requests is also subject to Anthropic's applicable terms and privacy/data-use documentation.
4. Technical logs and hosting
The hosting provider may process technical information in server logs for delivery, security, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention. Such logs may include IP address, request time, requested URL, browser/user-agent details, and response status, depending on the server configuration. The site package does not intentionally embed an analytics or advertising tracking script.
5. Purposes and legal basis
Information may be handled to respond to messages, operate and protect the website, troubleshoot technical problems, and meet applicable legal obligations. Where applicable law requires consent or another specific legal basis, the operator should implement the appropriate notice and controls before collecting the relevant information.
6. Service providers and disclosures
Information may be processed by website hosting and email providers. If the optional AI explanation is enabled, aggregate event statistics are sent to Anthropic through its API. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and security, or respond to lawful requests.
7. Retention and security
Messages retained in the operator's mailbox and technical logs should be kept only for as long as needed for their purpose or as required by law. Reasonable measures should be used to protect information, including keeping API secrets outside the public web directory. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your requests
You may contact information@verifnumber.com to ask about information you have sent to us or to make a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity and may be unable to fulfill requests where a legal exception applies.
9. International processing
Email, hosting, and AI API providers may process information in countries outside your location. The operator should check applicable transfer requirements and provider settings before using the relevant feature with real data.
10. Updates
This notice may be revised when the website or data practices change. The effective date above will be updated when material revisions are published.
